TMcC: And the other thing I thought of at home was, the estate, Galloway House with Lady Forteviot under there, did they employ quite a lot of the locals?
WD: Oh yes. Oh yeah, quite a lot.
TMcC: Because it was a dairy that supplied milk in the village.
TMcC: And I suppose game-keepers, foresters?
WD: Aye, Oh aye. Of course, a lot of them lived on the estate then. Houses, ye know, houses on the estate.
TMcC: And some here, including the factor and others.
WD: Aye, aye, oh aye.
