The European Ethnological Research Centre (EERC) at the University of Edinburgh hosts the Dumfries and Galloway: A Regional Ethnology study.
About the European Ethnological Research Centre
The EERC was established in 1989 under the directorship of Dr (later Professor) Alexander Fenton, former Director of the National Museums of Antiquities of Scotland.
Until July 2006, National Museums Scotland hosted the EERC in Edinburgh.
The research centre then transferred its activities to the University of Edinburgh.
